I had the day off today. I thought I would get more work done, but I was so tired I slept through most of it. I paid my bills and got a few groceries. Apart from that, zilch! Am I lazy or what?

I have been thinking of getting a roomate, beacause it could help with the bills etc. I got a terrible shock when I got my electricity bill yesterday. I couldn't believe it! But, I am slightly concerned it would mean less privacy and potentially living with an unsavoury character! They might be a criminal, junkie or just some nut with bad behaviour! I once shared a house with four other people. It was not a very nice experience and I was glad when I moved out and got a place of my own. We were too different and it wasn't the most convenient of arrangements when it came to brining visitors home! It had its advantages thugh. You could always count on finding someone to talk to at home and the bills were more manageable! I am seriously considering moving out of this place now. The electric heating is just so not worth it. Or maybe the meter is not working properly? But then again, we are getting into summer and it should be warmer. So, I could say here until the autumn then move into a place with gas central heating. Hmm..that's an idea.
